If you haven't heard, a woman who was swimming on the Upper Niagera River was founddead after falling over the edge of the falls. I am truly sorry for her family and send my condolences. I haven problem with swimming in a river, but I do have an opinion on whether or not her time and place played a leading roll in her death. It is a possiblity thay canoeing or swimming in that river, could result in falling over the edge, but perhaps time also played a factor.
Look at the facts:
A) it could've been windy blowing the current towards the falls
B) she may not've been equipped to handle the strong currents in general
C) karma?
That last one may start a fair bit of controversy over what to and what not to beleive. I'm not trying to shove my religion down anyone's throat but have you ever heard of "an rye for an eye"? A little gruesome in this case, but I can't help but wonder what she did to desirve such a horrific fate.
